Book rooms now as they can be pricey in season. Looking forward to it.

ALL! Hotels.com is showing some good deals right now. Search Wellington Florida for April 16th, prices are pretty damn good.

Default FSEARA Points Update

Hey Everyone,

Well with only two more races left in the 2015-2016 FSEARA season here are the current points. I had the computer drop off anyone who has less than 3 races in for the year since you need to run 5 out of 7 races to be eligible. The report shows your points WITH TWO DROPS factored in. If you look in the second column you will see your Total points. The second report that says "FULL" is everyone who has ran a FSEARA race this season. Sorry if this causes any confusion but I had a racer ask for it to be posted. I aim to please! See everyone at the Village!

Thanks for the points.

IMO:
You should eliminate the min. race requirement... The more hope the more people might show to race. You show, you race, it counts.

Also droops should not be factored in until you have enought races to make them effective. For exactly the same reason... Hope of wins and placing helps bring people to the race.

Rewarding consistency in races and attendance makes the series grow. Gives opportunity where there was none. Next years Point system should reflect that. It will help the medium fast guys grow in numbers and that my friend is what this is about... is it not.

Just saying as we saw the same in FORGASS.

I hear ya and some very good ideas, but simply, minimum number of races to qualify for year-end points is driven by money, when you race the minimum number of races it pays for your year-end awards. Drops, no perfect way of when to factor in drops, if you miss race or races, you want that drop to factor in right away. I really like Timmy posting points both ways as it shows where you'd be in the points if you qualified for minimum races, gives you some incentive to make more races. Either way, the series has been really fun this year!
