Default FSEARA Race #7

Can't wait to check out your new facility. Pics look great, how're things coming along? This break for the warm up and the Natl's have really made this year seem loooonnnggg. Thanks for the info about the year end voting. Seems minimal, but will probably be a protracted process to decide, especially who will get the races for next year. Is there any way for racers who don't make the last race to have their opinions aired? I know Tim, myself, and Johnny G. are planning on attending and are looking forward to it!

Mark, as soon as the website host finshes the upgrade, I will have the items to be voted on listed. I will talk to Izzy about absentee ballots...

Joe, after hosting the nats, I am sure you will enjoy actually racing again...

Bill, the truck class has been run as an experimental class, to see what kind of turnout we can have for next year.

Like less than 5 years. We were/are trying to breath new life into that class. We were supposed to race it at this race- so we were told a few months ago.

Bill, who is coming with a pan car ?

Like I said before, the Truck class is an experimental class. There is a fair amount of positive feedback from the truck class. I am sure if we get enough Pan Cars something can be worked out in the way of running them also. It is the last race of the year, lets have some fun. ( besides - we usually have a lower turnout for the last race of the season). I do not have a 10th scale pan car, I think they look like blast, but Troy is right, it seems to be dead.

Default Trucks

Hey, how about 12th scale 4wd? 12th scale stock? Minis? Legends? Each track has it's own flavor, and it's been my understanding that several of each can constitute a class. Trucks seem like an easy, fun way to recycle old cars into something fun by using last season's tires, batteries, and chassis and only having to buy, or locate a truck body. Watching them run at Fast n' Furious made me want to build one to run and not have to worry about being competitve, not that I really ever am in any class. I can't wait to run in Lauderdale. Sounds like the track is really coming together and a lot of people have been working hard to give us another venue. I'd even run 1/10th pan cars if we could only get a track in Sarasota!
