What's the new legends?

I guess it will be out shortly - It looks like the old Mudbus body. Not sure what Rick is going to do with the rules. According to Gene it will be for the 21.5 and single cell- just guessing.

For those who are not aware yet, RJ Speed is working on a modified body made to fit the shorter wheelbase of the original Legends platform. Rick's thought is to provide something that would be decidedly different from the old coupe or sedan for those of us running a more modifed version of the Legends such as our single cell/21.5 Florida Outlaw Legends. It is kind of like a mudbus (can't wait to try it on the dirt at River Rat) but the thought was more like a IMCA/Lucas Oil type modified body.
There is no reason that it could not be used for either the traditional configuration or F.O.L. or any other combination used around the country.

Could we bring back Legends on the road course for sunday?

Got permission to post a pic of the prototype for the Legend Modified body.
Expectation is that it would be available as either a body only or a body kit with everything needed for the body conversion.
Cross brace shown will likely be different in the production version.
It's hard to see the windsheild character with the clear body. Hopefully we will see a painted version soon.
Also forward mount points are the same as the current Legends so no drilling or other mods would be needed.
