Well lookey here........a little bit of parking lot action.
Can't wait. Steve P. |
For those wondering the Scalpel Class is for the new type of class using a Traxxas Slash 4x4, putting a J Concepts bumper kit, new tires/wheels and body. They look pretty sweet, and fun to race. Its a sweet option if you have a Slash 4x4, or just get a roller pretty cheap and run the class since it won't eat tires, or kill bodies like normal SC trucks. I found a few part numbers you need for the mentioned products above. I'll ask one of the JC guys to elaborate on the class and products for those of you wondering on this thread...
All J Concepts: 0240 The body 2173 The bumper conversion 3056-3040 The correct tires and wheels Andy |
Sweeeeet!

C'mon locals make some noise yall all been crying n whinning now here's your chance to support your local track & of course LHS
MB will be doing a seminar on how you can run 3 classes & delay all the racing all in 1 day I don't know how he does it j/k:lol: |
For the series (non-state) is there a drop or do you have to race all 4 races?
|
I'm almost certain it's best 3 of 4, I'll confirm soon.
We've gotten quite a few prizes for the races. Past few days we got a box from Jconcepts full of gift certificates and lanyards. We have a lot of little useful things, screw assortments, wire, lipo sacks, etc. All the stuff I want but hate spending money on. Should be a good series, come run scalpel or get a touring car. We have competitive touring car kits for as low as $130 so if any offroad guys want to come try it, you can do it pretty cheaply. |
Anyone interested in running Tamiya M05 for a class?
|
Had a great time Saturday racing again in front of the best hobby shop. Question about race 2 though on May 18th. Is it at Superior or Kraceway?
