Is it clay? Do you have a lap counter? Do you print out my lap results? Do you have a PA system? How do you start the races, does someone just say "go"? Do you have proper protective barriers around your track for 1/5 scale racing? Do you have a dedicated pit area? What specific classes do you run? Who techs the cars for the classes?

if you answered: no, no, no, no, yes, according to your video - no, no, none really, nobody. You are not operating a real track. You, in essence, are charging people to "bash". LAME.

here is a grand and noble idea. go rent a warehouse, buy some clay, buy a lap counting system and a p.a. system. and dedicate 3 weeks of your life. cost 10k to 15k plus rent. that's the reason there is no other place to race in collier or lee county. just ask jeff. not trying to argue with you but you should be happy this guy made a track for you to race at.

Look somebody took the time to enjoy the hobby and invite others to do the same. So it doesn't have clay or a lap counter and they bash more than race. They are enjoying what they are doing. What the new track in Naples could be is a gateway into something better.

I for one wish we had a place again like what Jeff had as my son and I miss racing. We have not gone out to the Naples track just because we really don't have anything to run there. Not saying we will never go but if they are enjoying what they are doing good for them. I for one hope it turns into a full blown race track..

For many years I've come to Ft Myers at Christmas and Easter to visit my in laws with my family. One stop on my trip was to always stop by Jeff's and see what was up. Imagine my surprise to find out that when I retired to Ft Myers in May that his facility is closed! I'm an oval guy, so I have to drive a couple hours north or east to race. There isn't even a place in the state to run my QSAC quarter scales. I, too, don't have anything to race at Naples, but I applaud his efforts to provide something for people in the Ft Myers/Naple area.

You do realize it costs $100 per person per year to bash there right?

Yeah, I can't really see anything productive happening here. If you have a track or club, start anew thread. Jeff, if anything changes, let us know.
