Thumbs up 1/5 Scale Off Road Track - Tampa

I would like to get a head count for anyone interested in racing 5th scale off road buggies and trucks in Tampa - I found a piece of property large enough to run on and that is obtainable right here in Tampa. If I get a large response then the statement of "If you build it, they will come" will happen. I would like to do some organized racing as well as open Bash sessions.

This is a seperate track and location than the indoor track we are currently working on.

I can speak for 5 people that have and would run them. I think people would buy them if there was a place to run them. Lets face it they dont really cost anymore than a killer 1/8th scale, and talk about cheap fuel.....

If it's large enough for 5th than it will easily acomidate 1/8th fuel and battery operated buggies and monster trucks. Entry money is entry money. I know there is a need in the area with Farmers gone and the other tracks running a race here and there.

Absolutely - the only possible draw back for the 1/8's would be not having clay - This will be a maintained dirt track.

I would really be glad to see this happen. I've been running my 1/5 buggy at the local park, and although fun, running solo gets old quick. just say when and where and i'll be there.

I'm down, we have a million tread patterns in a million different compounds. One of them has got to work.

I agree - the more options that are out there the better for all Racers and Bashers. I plan on heading over to the Asylum in a couple weeks to check out the track - looks great on video!

So how many of you would be able to come out on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. I need to try to make this worth while for the property owner.
