Farmers Racers AND other racers!!

With the summer off from racing at Farmers, there are three NEW-ESH tracks now racing offroad that wheren't open 3 months ago.

Bartow/555
Re-opened in July, they got a load of new clay for a new layout that was done late Aug / early Sept.

FIRCC (Plant City)
Indoor (AC) onroad, oval and offroad carpet.
Is having a offroad grand opening Sept 17, oval grand opening Sept 18 and onraod Sept 25-26.

I'll be at the Sept 17 grand opening.


Lil'Dover (Sefner)
Has built a offroad/SC layout inside their oval. There first offroad/sc race is Sept 18. $12 first car $7 each additional car.

I'll be at the Sept 18 race.

ALL 5 tracks have sections in "R/C Tech Florida" for info of their race dates and times.

Dont forget the new R/C Asylum track in Waverly. I believe they will be openning late sept early october. HUGE :eek: indoor facility. They also have a section on this board.

2. they are to far away for me to drive to BUT not for racers from Tampa/St Pete area when they do :-)

FIRCC (Plant City) offroad GRAND OPENING was Grand!!! :-)

Some very close racing, some way to close racing I have never seen a 4wd buggy that looked like it had been BOMBED!!! There maybe STILL be parts on the track.

Was great to race and lose to Jeff, Greg and Paul again!!! :D

Lil' Dover

Shade, cool breeze, TQ'd the qual's, missed the 1st place trophy by one place. :D

After one day of racing the track's jumps came in, path around the track developed.

Ready for next Sat!!!

More and MORE Farmers SC racers are showing up!!! Nice to see their faces and talk about the "old" days and about the "new" days to come!!!

Don't know if R/C Asylum is open yet BUT this track could be a good half way track for the Tampa Bay and Orlando area to get together and see who's better! :-)

Speaking of Farmers, any updates yet ?
Have not heard word one of any plans of moving and re-opening.
Sure miss Farmers & Crew.

As far as I heard they are finished.:D Come on out to Lil' Dover and join us!

Would not surprise me, but would be sad to hear.
Saturday is not an option for me anymore, and soon
Sunday will not be. Sounds like Friday night in Plant City
is my ONLY option right now, and those will be few and
far between.
