Mike Bean has scheduled Oval Racing at Strickland Starting Feb 28!!!. Stay tuned for times and other info. If you like to race on a clean, smooth, high traction, 120X65 ft. track make plans to attend. As you know, Mike runs one of the best race programs around and great racing will be had by all.

mike i wanted to take the time now to tell you...what a fine job you did with the on-road track! smoooooooooooth and looks like it has awesome traction as well! the scoring booth and drivers stand are also a nice touch! team daytona is looking forward to some oval racing in the future there! again very nice job!

Is the date for the oval on the 28th or has it been moved up to the 21st? Could someone confirm this for me, I plan on running it if it's on the 21st.

i got a flyer from magnum racing yesterday and the date printed on it was the 28th???? i talked to mike bean and he said it was the 3rd week in febuary? so even i am confused..maybe i'll have to show up both dates? lol i'll swing by mikes shop thursday and find out the exact date and time and post it here.

Just off the phone with Magnum and the race is the28th!
Katf1sh can you get ahold of mike bean and have him call Magnum hobbies so the this can be resolved. I was at the track and heard sherif mike talking with the folks at magnum and what was said was it would be the last sat of the month.

i talked to mike bean today at 5:15 pm.

the schedule is feb 28th at 2 pm the track will be open . after mike bean blows the track off and sets up the pipe we can get in practice. the racing on the oval will start at 5 pm! all types of cars are welcome to race. they will all be seperated into there respective classes. 1/8 buggies will race only with 1/8 buggies..1 10th elec oval cars will only race with others like them. practice will be the same way..should be a fun day hope to see you all there...again you cannot enter the track until 2 pm so dont show up at 8 am and wait 5 hours,lol...
