The track crew at Homestead RC Raceway have started preparations to freshen up the facility in anticipation of the FORGASS Race next month. The track is being freshly striped and track barriers are being freshly painted.
Tropical Storm Fay got in our way this Sunday and kept us from continuing to paint. Instead we were taking the tent tops off, removing banners/sign, securing the drivers stand, stowing away the garbage cans and picking up any loose items that could turn into missiles in high winds.
Now that Fay has passed the track crew is ready to move forward in getting the facility ready.
The staff at Homestead RC Raceway looks forward to providing all of you a great race track , secure pit area, ample parking, clean rest rooms, but most of all a super weekend of fair and competitive racing that meets all FORGASS standards.
