This Forum was started for open opinions regarding a class that was voted in on a "exhibition" status without any active participants in attendance. Deebs and Mr. Larry own one, they were there and the rest of us that where there voted to grant this class it's exhibition status.
Show up at the race...voice your opinion it's what makes us the U.S.

Let's hear it. What would owners of these cars like to see for class rules. HUMMERH3 would obviously like to see a spec class raced. He can't be the only guy in the State of Florida that owns one of these cars. What do you guy's want to race and will you show up?

Uh, Wait a minute ..... I thought the vote went the other way ... I thought that we voted it out ... for just the reasons we are hearing here. Can't get 10 cars to show up at Ronnie's because of the infighting over the rules, Yep sounds like Spec racing!

I say if FORGASS is going to allow this then FORGASS should have the racers of that class tech themselves.

Just to be clear, I am only a racer that enjoys the FORGASS series, I am not an officer of the entity and it is NOT a club!

And Mugen Drew kicks azzzzz

I have an ofna gtp. foam tires. picco p7r. 2 speed.

I raced against a spec kyosho on rubber tires this past Sunday (Paul is the gentlemans name)

He waxed me good. I couldn't keep up. Obviously, I was outdriven and I've got some setup work to do.

The point I want to make is... maybe you should consider leaving the class open and quit nitpicking about all the small stuff.
Put some type of claimer system on the engine to control Mr. deep-pockets.
Run it like that for the first year until you can figure out what changes would actually level the playing field. I think you can get more cars to show up this way.... then they'll adapt to whatever changes may be needed.

Let me know what you think of being able to tech yourselves for one year .

FORGASS enjoys the no arguing bull #$%$ that goes along with any type of spec racing.

I would like to see if the racers of this class could put on a good show, be civil and fit in at a FORGASS event

Now how about that 220 mm GPR class

Here you go

This was the IGT Spec Class that raced at Kevin's for the Open.

There's more than 10 guys there and they're all Spec. Easy to tech & nobody fought, nothing but love and we race in the rain too.

If Forgass goes by the same type of rules as at Kevin's they'll have more racers at every race than now. If they go to anything goes, it will be like Ronnie's track is now.

Lotta luv for you Ronnie, you just lost sight of what made your program great from the start. Rubber tires only is the way to go, foam will kill your new class very fast.

Default 235 with GTP bodies...Roof over your head

C.F. are you saying put up or shut up? So they should show up and then F.O.R.G.A.S.S. will let them argue about the rules?

Nahh, I wasn't saying that. I'm saying .... this is the way we race in FORGASS

Bring your racers, put on your show, take care of your class necessities and we'll see if it could become a viable FORGASS Series class.

End O' Discussion Can ya or can't ya ??
