Default SS Raceway in Tampa

We have the possibility to build a 200x100 race track for 1/8 gas & 1/10 gas and electric racing, the track would be located in central Tampa. We can race on sundays or evenings during the week.

How many would be interested in racing weekly at a track like this ??

It depends on a few things, #1 if you plan on racing the same weekend as other tracks ( your gonna have a low turnout like some other tracks ) #2 if you can get the information out to Alot of racers ( attend a few Forgass & a few electric races & pass out flyers. #3 if the track is good & not a offroad track which kills the car & tires , I think you would be supprised to see the turnout , if you could control these issues and a few other small details. I know of at least 4-5 nitro sedan guys that would be game, and probably 4-5 1/8 scales too. Hope this helps.

I know of a few people that would travel the distance from the Orlando are that would attend, also I know that it would be nice to have to not drive more than an hour to go racing every time. The other consideration is to the drivers stand. That is an overlooked area as far as visibility is concerned.

Default Tampa!

Sounds great!

Tell Ronnie to do it.

His location is fantastic. There’s a hotel across the street, close to the airport, food, clubs, TV stations, The Mayors Office and one of the largest populations of “potential new RC blood” around.

Ronnie’s place & staff will do well with the right amount of “push”

Just do it!
