It depends on a few things, #1 if you plan on racing the same weekend as other tracks ( your gonna have a low turnout like some other tracks ) #2 if you can get the information out to Alot of racers ( attend a few Forgass & a few electric races & pass out flyers. #3 if the track is good & not a offroad track which kills the car & tires , I think you would be supprised to see the turnout , if you could control these issues and a few other small details. I know of at least 4-5 nitro sedan guys that would be game, and probably 4-5 1/8 scales too. Hope this helps.
I know of a few people that would travel the distance from the Orlando are that would attend, also I know that it would be nice to have to not drive more than an hour to go racing every time. The other consideration is to the drivers stand. That is an overlooked area as far as visibility is concerned.
Sounds great!
Tell Ronnie to do it.
His location is fantastic. There’s a hotel across the street, close to the airport, food, clubs, TV stations, The Mayors Office and one of the largest populations of “potential new RC blood” around.
Ronnie’s place & staff will do well with the right amount of “push”
Just do it!

You know I'm ready, are you!
Ronnie, Make it like a Baby Kissimmee or Cincinnati track design, with painted infield areas so “the general public” will want to get into RC racing and your track photographs well. Pipes & boards are ugly.
Let me know when you want to start, I'm with ya!

yo ronnie matt strow here....i applaud the idea,if you can make race night tues, wed or thurs,,im pretty sure youll have a great turn out...this way there will be no conflicts whatsoever with adrenaline,b&b,farmers and etc..quite frankly race fanatics can manuever time to race,as we all know work is crazy and many of us either work on sat.. or go to church on sun...set it up and ill be there along with some of my adrenaline buddies...night time racing is nice, dont forget some neon lighting!!!!

1/8 On-Road in Tampa
Ronnie,
Here are some pictures of some beautiful tracks I’ve found from all over the world. Some of them are very large but they all share a common feel and look that can be recreated at your new facility.
Your location in the heart of the City of Tampa can attract more than all of us racers, it can attract the general public.
With the expenditure of time and financial investment you’ll be putting into this much needed track project, design a race facility that the general public will view as pleasing to the eyes and make them want to get started in R/C racing.
