To clarify, a brushless 13.5 system WILL be legal in stock buggy? I hope this spreads over to other races. Thanks.

3 or more makes a class so if there is at least 3 of mod trucks we will run them.

How about Lipos in that class? I'd be willing to add weight to my vehicle if need be to compensate for the Lipo pack being lighter.

I don't want to start any argument here, but why exactly?

Even ROAR has added a BL/Lipo demo class at their off-road nationals this year. Excerpts from their news page:

"The 2007 ROAR Off Road Electric Nationals has added a LiPo/Brushless demo class!!!!

Rules are this:

7.4V, any capacity LiPo battery
ANY BRUSHLESS MOTOR - open!
ROAR Legal 1:10 2wd Truck
MUST MEET WEIGHT REQUIREMENTS"

As someone that has never raced at Strickland, but really would like to, it's unfortunate that I'd have to go invest in older technology to race at all in your series in a mod class. I do realize you have club races that you have said you will allow Lipo in, but with the schedule of your points series, that leaves about 2 club races in the next 4 months total. To me, that's just not worth the expense.

For those of you who have 1/18th scale vehicles, lets dust them off, and get them ready for the points series.
