Carpet track in Jax?
 

What ever happened to the indoor carpet track in Jacksonville?
I haven't heard anything about it in a while.

i believe he rolled up the carpet months ago,lack of interest i guess

Come on Marcos. you know it wasn't lack of intrest the guy was just plain stupid.

the guy ran 1 show on 4th of july weekend had very little oval interest so he took oval out. was just starting to get on-road guys and just rolled the carpet up.


Was no suprisem here that guy had a history of opening a track then suddenly closing it.

Speaking of oval, I guess First Coast Speedway is no longer open.
I used to race there about 15 years ago and it was a blast.

First Coast is long gone- now it's a nice walking park area.

Paul, I ran the hobby shop across the street then, And raced both dirt oval and the conctrete. Who you be?

I still have some memory left from that far back but not much.
