Default Attn On-Road/Off-Road Nitro and Elec Officers

I am the current Secretary for the FORGASS (Florida On Road Gas State Series). In reading these forums I see we have some schedule conflicts. Maybe we can use this thread to help out with schedule conflicts in the future. I know there is a lot of racing but if we try maybe we can make it so not to be on the same weekend as someone else. With FORGASS we try to run the second weekend of the month. Our season usually starts in September and ends in May. We do take the month of February off for the Winternats.

Here is our current schedule for the rest of this year:

Jan 13th and 14th, 2007 Race # 5 Fort Myers
March 3rd and 4th , 2007 Race # 6 Kissimmee
March 25th and 26th, 2007 (May Change to 17th and 18th voting in Jan) Race # 7 Port Charlotte
April 7th and 8th, 2007 Regional 4 Race Kissimmee
April 28th and 29th, 2007 "Sour Grapes" Our Trophy BBQ, Fun Race Fort Myers

At the Sour Grapes race we elect officers, go over by-laws, pick tracks for the next year. Then we eat and race and have fun!

Hope this helps

David Larry
FORGASS Secretary

Default date change

David - The March 17th and 18th race will fall
on the same date as PNP's State Race. I don't
have an issue with that, because I understand
the issues with the RC Pro Series Race, falling on
your date that you may need to change. This
is all fine with me, HOWEVER, I AM comitted
to BOTH FORGASS and FSEARA. This will be the
1st State Race PNP Hobbies will hold, as well
as the 1st race for you guys on your new track.
SO - Here is the dilema - I CANNOT be in 2 places
at once. IF YOUR date gets changed to the 17th
& 18th - there will be NO on-site hobby shop, and
I will lose points because I can't race Nitro
This is an unfortunate and non-resolvable situation.
Thanks All!!
Petey

The Reigon 4 race has been changed from April 7th and 8th to April 14th and 15th. Because of Easter.

Please make a note of this.

Thank You
