I'll be there, *reminder to self, don't drink to much the night before...

TQ - Will there be a strong showing of 1/10 gas trucks? Also, what tires work for 1/10 truck? Thanks!

I Plan on being there.

Are we going to have the 2wd open electric class where we will use all three rounds to pick the winner + invert the starting order each race?

Also how is track maintenance handled. The only times I have been to Strickland for off-road it has rained out.. so i stopped going so they could get the racing in! :P

is it left alone, kept moist but not grooved, allowed to groove, wet? ( I don't care either way but for preparation )

Mason, I am only running 1/8 now, but I will do my best.

If you are running electric, bring holeshots and step-pins. That would cover it

Nitro 1/10 might get away with bowties, but I would go for steps or holeshots.

The times I have been have always rained, but we still raced. Most notably the race two weeks ago.

It was definetly a step-pin track then.

I have been there when maintainence was required and they do a good job. It is ran for the most part wet for club races.

The state races saw a different track. It was grooved then.

As far as the layout, it is the same layout as the last state race. I do not think that would change until the next state race.

Sorry for the only proline references. I like Losi's cars, just not a fan of the tires. Except for ifmar pins. lol.

where tires are concerned I have no alliances, loyalty or otherwise. whatever works, works. I have tires from losi, pro-line, panther, customworks, coopers r/c, bsr, trinity/trc, jaco, and i'm sure i'm missing one or two more.

i'll see if some of my boys are willing to suck it up and race.

Oh don't get me wrong. I agree with going with what works. It is just that I have been able to get the tires listed to work in most applications.

Until you see a "proline" , "panther", "werks" or "losi" in my signature (which in my best calculation will be a long time coming...if ever). You will not hear me "suggest" any tire by brand only. lol.

Although I did read the Schumacher was making 1/8 tires!!
Just have not tried them yet.
