As orginally posted by Kreidle

If there are any nitro onroad guys looking to get together and run send me a email. If I have a big enough response I can get something up and running or at the very least do some practice. I have several friends already to go so hopefully we can get something locally so we do not have to travel so far to race. We make the drive over to Orlando once a month for Superiors race and have a great time. I heard a rumor that SpaceCoast Hobbies is starting their racing backup very soon so that will be good also. I have a small offroad track also if any of you nitro offroaders are wanting someplace to run. No real races but good if you are looking to setup your truck/buggy or get a little practice/tuning done. So if there is any interest email me [email protected]

Yeah, if we can focus each area of racing, it will only get things stonger in our areas. We live in a state that outdoor racing all year round is the norm. We just had a Nitro Enduro tonight, 2 hours of pure fun....

We try to do them once a month.. A simple framework for rules...

200mm TC and Super Nitro Classes run side by side.
Any small block engine. Any tires. Must have two people, as you turn marshall your own car. No lola type bodies on 200mm tc's.

We have one this month, and then we are starting a point series after that.

Space Coast Hobbies will be running races again. The first race will be a warm-up race to work out the kinks and get the racers familiar with the new program. This will take place on 4/13 and then will be regularly scheduled for the 3rd Sunday of every month. The racing will be run a little more professionally, there will be a driver's stand, but it'll all be based around having fun! Nitro will be a scheduled class, and as it grows there will be class seperations based on skill, motor and etc.

This was basically hammered out last night, but this is the tentative plan. Come on out for the free warm-up race and see what you think of the program!
