Default FSEARA Rules updates for 2007

As it reads, we need to start discussions on what we feel our rules should be for next season.

Default rules?

How about relly pushing the envelope and running a brushless/Lipo combo exhibition class? If we have enough surplus funds, how about having the series fund 10 stock brushless setups...then the first ten racers interested run them at the normal $25 bucks an entry. At 250.00 a race, the series would quickly recoup it's investment, let numerous racers try the newer technology, and further the "brushless movement". Maybe a $100.00 deposit just in case something does go wrong....

Start both days at the same time like 11:00
The reason for that there wouldnt be a rocket round.

Stock Brushless and lipo promo class like mixxon said the brushless funded by fseara but the lipo is the racers fund

Default rocket round

How can you not like rocket round? It makes it interesting and fast is always fun. I know the cons. Rocket round is the best part...plus, you wouldn't get home till midnight if you started at 11am.

Qual points won't work with 3 rounds and we don't have time for 4.

I think if a stock champ wants to run stock again, why not? What if he or she really enjoys racing stock only? If 19t and mod champs can run again why not stock?

Not crazy about the 6 minute 19 turn.

One suggestion I have is to take a 20 minute break after 12th scale so that the 19 turn sedan drivers don't have to rush like crazy to switch their cars over to mod. This would minimize the thrashing! Just my thoughts Thanks for running the show Tim! I will still have a blast no matter what.

Lipos are not sub-c cells. I am not sure but have you seen how the go KABOOM in the lap tops and they are not crashing...WOW!!

Brushless sounds good to try but why should the series pay for them? The technology is not proven yet. They still shut down. Going slow never shuts them down its when you try to go fast that it happens. I have a 4.5 novak system and no matter how I gear it in the florida sun they still shut down.

1) Track owners that want a race Show up at the meeting and stay for it. None of this 30 minute stop in during the day and leave crap,

2) Masters class for anyone over 40/45 who wants it.

3) Stock champions move up a class.

4) No battery or motor rule changes in the middle of the year (stick with the rules for the ENTIRE series).

5) Stock class for un-sponsored racers, Pro Stock for all the people with TEAMS suppyling them with their equipment/cars/bats/motors/etc.

Steve,

What are your objections to 6 minutes in 19t?
