Sunday, March17th, 10AM-4PM - Open Practice for everyone on the new layout! Timing system will most likely be up. Come give it a run!
Sunday March 24th - Racing! Gates open at 9AM, Racing at 11AM!

Other than what is noted above, the regular schedule is below. Note that open practice not noted above typically does not have the timing system setup.
1 Year Track Membership - $100
Open Practice, Monday-Saturday, 9AM-4:30PM (Members $0, Non-Members $10 all-day)
Members Only Practice, Sunday, 11AM-4:30PM (Members $0)
Racing - Members - $10, Non-Members $20. No extra charge for additional classes.

POPULAR CLASSES:

• Novice/Kids - Any 1-2S Li-Po vehicle (or comparable NiMh/NiCd).
• Intermediate 1/10th 2WD Buggy (Open Motor)
• Advanced 1/10th 2WD Buggy (Open Motor)
• *Coming Soon* 1/10th 4WD Buggy (Max 13.5T) - A group of us regulars are putting 13.5 4WD cars together. Beginning of April for this class to get started!
• 1/10th 2WD Stadium Truck (Open Motor)
• 1/16th Mini B/Mini T (Open Motor)
• 1/14th 4WD (Open Motor, Ex: Mini 8ight, Reflex 14B etc.)
• 1/14th Mixed (SCT's and any other similar scale) (Open Motor)
• Any 3 or more drivers of the same type make a class!

Classes are limited to 1/10th scale and under (no larger) and max 2S Li-Po

1/10th 2WD Buggy is the most popular class.

TIMING SYSTEM
K&K uses an infrared system from Trackmate. Compatible transponders can be found here for around $20.

TIRE CHOICES
Typical Tire Choices are JConcepts Fuzz Bites, ProLine Prisms or similar carpet tires. Some guys have had success with foam tires on the 1/14th SCTs and Reflex 14Bs.

Update!

Track is open Monday-Saturday for practice during normal shop hours. No timing loop available. $10 for the day, or $100 for a yearly pass.

Saturday, February 26th - Open Practice Day with Timing Provided by Groove RC.
Sunday, Febrary 27th - Race Day! 9AM Registration, 10AM Practice, 11AM Racing Starts!

Groove RC uses a Trackmate Timing System, so standard MyLaps transponders do not work. The Trackmate transponders are $20 here:

What type of transponders are used on the outdoor carpet track shown in pictures? Interested in a day trip from the Ft Lauderdale area.

Justin at Groove RC uses a Trackmate Infrared system. He usually has a couple you can rent if needed (get them rented first thing in the morning, as they are usually all rented), but they can usually be had for about $20 HERE.

If you're going on a practice day, there is no timing system available.
