What's going on everyone?
Rich here...the new owners of the old Deans Discount Hobby! ( NEW PORT RICHEY, FL )
The new name for the Complex is: EPIC RC RACING COMPLEX
The new name for the Hobby Store is: EPIC RC HOBBIES ( looking like we will be open 7 days a week )
We are revamping the entire complex and have already spent $45k bringing this facility back to life...been there 14 hours a day since I signed the least 3 weeks ago.

We had our first practice + club race weekend on March 13th + 14th!
We had 42 Entries on our first club race!

What we are currently working on...
Expanding the clay track to make it more 1/5 scale friendly! ( DONE )
Expanded the back half of the property with 10k SQ FT of Asphalt to offer one of the biggest on-road circuit courses for all scales...YES, 1/5 Friendly! ( DONE )
Dragstip with PortaTree on the scene! ( ON ORDER )
Oval Track ( asphalt ) for racing and drifting!
Custom Crawler Course built by crawler enthusiast! ( Currently in progress )
Completely remodeling the old Hobby Shop ( Currently in progress )
Completely graded the entire property to help prevent flooding *as this was one the biggest issues before years ago*

Not understanding why posts on all the social media accounts keep bringing up past owner. That was the past and y’all need to just focus on what YOU are doing moving forward. Just my .02 cents

Our first Epic Weekend in the books! Congrats to our podium finishers this weekend at Epic Rc Racing Complex's first Club Race! I pulled up at 7:41 AM as the gates were due to open at 8 AM...there were 11 cars on the street causing traffic jams to pull into the complex! I'm guessing this local Rc Community doesn't mess around! That's a good thing because we like to follow suit and open 3 weeks before we marketed we would be! We opened our first Cub Race with 42 entries and the crowd built to nearly 100 people on the property at one point. The new asphalt in the back half of the property served the parking situation well! Our race director Jeff Bowland made sure the program ran smoothly, and we all were done by 5:45pm...even with daylight savings time pushing us an hour ahead the night before! I really want to personally thank everyone involved for their support! The track designed by Bobby Moore held up great with the 90/10 Clay! Big Congratulations needs to be given to our first Club Race Podium Finishers! Great day of racing! Shouts out to all the racers and supporters of our first event! Stay tuned for more updates and upgrades to the New Epic Rc Racing Complex!

Another Epic Weekend of Racing in the books!
We had a solid turnout for our Saturday Club Race!
Can you say.... GIRL POWER
We made history on Saturday as Ena took home the 1st place win in our Nitro Buggy Main Event ! We all love seeing Ena continue to dominate this class! She has taken a Podium spot in her last 2 appearances! (2nd place last weekend + 1st place this weekend)
Congratulations to all of our Podium finishers in Saturday's Club Race! We will continue to host Club Races every Saturday!
We had our first father / son Podium Finish in our E-Buggy Main...and our first Father / Daughter combo Podium Finish in their respective classes! That's EPIC!
The Epic Weekend didn't end on Saturday as today we had an amazing turnout for our recurring Sunday Open Practice! We had 10 people on the drivers stand at one point...I counted as I marshaled and everyone was having a blast!
We even had the kids racing parents today! Kids from ages 4-7 were spectating and racing towards the end of the day!
We will always run practice on Sunday's from 11am-6:30pm !
We will always run club races on Saturday with gates open at 8AM!
Thank you to all of our racers and spectators for showing their support for their local track this weekend! With your support we will continue to make advancements and upgrades to the complex!
