Default What happened to the racing at Sun Sports Plaza in Ft. Myers?

Raced and applied for my ROAR membership renewal. Now the Facebook page is gone and I haven't heard anything else? Anyone have some info? Is it gone for good/coming back?

There will be no more racing in Fort Myers at Sunsports. Also not sure how much racing they will be doing in Punta Gorda either. It is a shame, club was growing, but things happen.

It's a real shame the track closed.... I have not been to other tracks but a handful of times since Ft Myers opened. will miss it for sure. But wait! there is hope! well, more like alternatives. SS in Tampa has a covered off road track (rain or shine to the line!) and Coral Springs has both out door on road and off road tracks, and I believe they race different days so you should be able to race either or both! Both of those tracks are a drive, but they race often and schedule out so you can plan on it (other than weather cancelations etc.) If interested, let me know.
