Default A new class for the Snowbirds 2019

After this past weekends Turkey race at Minregg (FL) Mike made this a class for the birds. This are the general rules: Any 1/12th chassis--Blinky esc- 1 cell- 21.5 motor- any 1/12th GT body made( cut on the body lines- no slaming)-- and purple stripe spec tires and standard 1/12 weight ). Mike has a few more rules on who can and can't enter. I believe if you race 17.5 or mod you can't enter this class- but not sure on that. Any questions you can ask me - I'll e glad to answer them. We have been racing this class for awhile down here in Florida.

The class was originally designed for novice drivers to enjoy 12th scale racing without feeling intimidated when racing 17.5 12th scale. Since then fasters driver have raced the class and they bring with them the fastest motors and best batteries, It is no longer a spec class and the faster guys will always be faster, trying to limit who will race the class is a joke, Your always gonna have this issue, Faster drivers are just gonna make you faster, There always there to help.

Given its really a simple and established class why not. I think it would be great.

Yes and doing well, plus they usedto have those figure 8 races where the RC car is pulling a lexan camper, I think they are called "Bangers" not sure. Our local track have went to GT12 (indoor) for the winter last year. And the turnout is great, lots of our older vets have come back to enjoy the simple fun it is.

I can barely see a 1/10th scale car so I don't think it would work unless we could have an old fashioned rollover antenna with a brightly colored flag attached.

I would much prefer Ensure to Caltrate plus, or minus.
