I want to start this thread to discuss Xpress RC Touring Cars for competition racing. I started with Xpress in January 2026 when I found a local parking lot race while visiting my local hobby shop. I spoke to a very nice man who was running the race and he happened to have some kits for sale. I bought the Xpress XQ3SH, the special Atsushi Hara edition. Then I purchased the Hobbywing XR10 G3 and 21.5 G4R combo with a Protek 160TBL servo. Assembled the kit the following two weeks and I have been racing every race I can possibly squeeze in since. Since then I acquired a Xpress XQ11 and AT1S both for my son to race also. Most recently got my hands on the XQ11RR, the latest Xpress 1/10 touring car kit. I also have a Tamiya TT02 for local Porsche Cup club racing and occasionally enter a TCS event. I have had a lot of fun in the process and want to share and discuss the experience.

Hi,
Curious as to what setup station you are using?
Clearly the HUDY is the primo version, but when you add in tools and accessories it’s over $570 which is steep.

Others I’ve seen, include:

Yeah Racing
SKYRC
J&T Bearing
