RC Sure Start

has anyone tried one of these... Would be awesome to preheat engine before races and also break in engine.
The price seems good and these are also 12v, which would be good for guys to use at the track that doesnt have AC power or just run it off your powersupply.
I believe competition also makes one, but only for .21 at the moment, howver it uses AC power.
The Sure-Start uses a high intensity light bulb and a small fan to direct the bulb heat down over the engine heat sink. This then transfers the heat throughout the rest of the engine. It works incredibly efficiently due to the tight fitting casing which slides around the engine and prevents the heat escaping.
Sure-start is incredibly efficient at pre-heating an engine (as an example it takes only five minutes to pre-heat an engine from 72F to 150F). Even when temps drop to 44F (6c) it will only take an extra four minutes to reach the critical 150F before starting.

here are some pics of the product as there is no pics on the website

These casings are interchangeable should you wish to use it on different sized engines and are available to be purchased separately. The small casing will work with engines with a head size of less than 59mm (OS Speed, V-Spec, Alpha, Ninja and Go engines).
The larger casing is for engines with a head size above 59mm (Reedy, RB engines, purple headed Nova Rossi range).

let me know how you go.
I have been talking to the guy and he has a .12 one in progess - news about the .12 will be next week.
The current small casing is still '59mm' which is quiet big for .12 engines. .12 engine heads are roughly 45-50mm, so it will have alot of air blowing out the side and around the chassis which is going to take longer to heat up.
if guys can measure the size of there .12 engine heads, that would help.
the current novarossi iv got is 45mm
i believe RB T9/T10 is also 45mm according to specs
OS TZ - according to there specs the head is 49mm
