Altepeter Family Raceway will have our first summer race Saturday June 8th. These are for electric models only from 1/18 through 1/8 classes. We put these on for our racers just for fun and to provide some high-level local action. There are no charges to participate in our races.

Track opens at 9:00AM. Please be registered before 11:00AM to get into round #1 of qualifying. All classes are "open" or "Modified", we do not run stock or spec races. For those that are new to R/C Racing, we will run some newbie classes if needed. We are just a bunch of people having some fun. Do not be intimidated. Give it a try. Our Racers will help you learn how to do things.

We have AMBrc lap counting and a full rack of house transponders for those that do not have personals. Our house transponders must fit under the body properly for use in all models. This can be an issue for some 1/18 models and buggies. For example, I will not allow my transponders to be mounted under a wing. Those that cannot contain a house transponder under body must have their own transponder to enter. If any questions on this or anything else, please send me a message to [email protected] and I will get back to you ASAP.

To make things more fun, we grill up burgers and hot dogs for lunch and have some side dishes generally. If you want to bring something to add to our pot-luck table, please do. We do not always have enough tables, chairs and cords, so bring your own if you can.
