What kind of track surface you guys have? (wondering what tires to use) Also, is there a picture of the layout somewhere I can see? Thanks guys

its black dirt and to be honest just about anything works just cause of the way it plays out. some areas are hard packed and other areas are soft so it has a bit of everything going on it. we are going to do some work this weekend and will get some pics up on sunday

It sound like most of our regulars can make this one along with some new guys too. It could be the best race we ever had! We will wake this sleepy neighborhood up. The site will be ready. A few of our guys are going to work on the track to spice things up a bit on Saturday. It is supposed to be a nice day. Whatever gets changed now will be what we run on for the 8th. Anyone that wants to help is welcome to stop in. I will try to take care of lunch for the workers. Grayson and I will likely have a camp fire after dark too. We like to do that on weekends here, but it has been too hot to want to sit around a fire lately.

I'm scheduling this one in. I will be racing 2wd and 4wd short course trucks. I will be coming from Bismarck/Mandan ND. Anyone looking to head out for this one who is in the area should hit me up via pm for some carpooling. We can lessen the cost of gas for ourselves. Since the race has no entry fees we can travel out and race against some new folks on a new track surface/layout (never raced on black dirt myself) as cheaply as possible. Lookin forward to spending a day of racing with some Minnesotans.

just a reminder, you need to bring tables and chairs, and shade if possible, their will be some available, but not much extra, as we plan on having a great time again

Just in case anyone is thinking about going out to this one from ND, I've got plenty of space in my car headed out from Bis/Man. I would appreciate the company on the 4 and a half hour drive.

Gettin up at 5:30, leaving by 6. Just me comin out that way. Looking forward to getting away from the daily grind for a weekend of racing! See you folks tomorrow morning.

you guys that did not make it up for this shootout, ha you missed a good one, by far the best racing, I have had in a long time, lots of new people, full heats of sportman electric, full heats of 2wd open, and full heats of 2wd sct trucks, on only 7 4x4 sc trucks, lots of fast racing action, free food, and trophies, and I forgot FREE entry

This race was a group effort. I just gave the guys a place to have this race and the equipment needed to run it. The fun that we had was made possible by our guys working together to put on this event. Thanks guys!

I just wanted to thank Kevin and his crew for a blast of a day on Sat. The racing was a blast. I will be back next summer and will try to come down again and battle it out. I hate that my Diff went in the SCT.... was some fun close racing and it would have made for a blast of a main.
