Default ALTEPETER FAMILY RACEWAY ELECTRIC OFFROAD SHOOT OUT SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 11TH

ATTENTION AREA ELECTRIC OFF-ROAD RACERS!

On Sunday September 11th the Altepeter Family and KRC Raceway will have another great day of action at our home track in Crookston. These races are put on as a free service to promote area racing. Classes offered are Electric-Only models in 1/18, 1/10 and 1/8 scales.

We will call this one The Electric Off-Road Shoot Out in rememberance of our races we had in Manvel. Here are the details:

-Track opens at 9:00AM for registration and practice.
-Qualifying Round #1 registration cut off is at 11:00AM.
-Racing begins at 11:30AM.
-Break for lunch following Round #1. We will cook burgers and hot dogs on site.
-Qualifying Round #2 after lunch. A 3rd Qualifier will also be run if time allows.
-Mains will be run with 2 Bump Ups to complete our program.

Notes:
-Late entries are accepted. We will enter them between rounds.
-All classes are "Open" or Modified. Roar Rules apply.
-AMBrc Lap Counting Systems are used. We maintain a full rack of rechargeable transponders to service our racers. Bring personals if you have them.
-We have very limited tables and chairs on site. Please bring your own if you can.
-Any questions? Don't hesitate to ask them. Here is my email address:

a week to go, been waiting to run the 4x4 sc truck again, had a blast the last time, and now wanting more, any other 4x4's should make it up to KRC and come and play with the 8th scale E buggies

A little correction, KRC is not having these races. That could get me in trouble by giving the Anti-Fun Police near me a valid complaint. These races are put on by The Altepeter Family at our private track using the KRC race management system. KRC Raceway in Grand Forks will likely not start having races again in the late fall.

This will be the last race at our home site for 2011 with race management systems set up. Let's make it a good one! See you there...

No problem Dave. We need to make sure no one shows up at KRC on Sunday 9/11 and expects there to be a race.

I hope you all had a great Labor Day weekend!

Default RACE UPDATE FRIDAY NIGHT 09/09/2011

The weather looks great for our Sunday races. Clear with a high of 83 degrees. It should be a beautiful day.

Our Grand Forks guys have checked it to say they will be here. Grayson and I will finish the track work needed to get done tomorrow morning. After that we will soak it down good with our watering system to get it deeply dampened. All will be ready for action. The track will open at 9:00AM. Bring your own chairs and tables.

See you here in Crookston!

lots of great racing action happened under the HOT sun in crookston, we always have fun and when everyone is getting faster, makes for more intense racing, I am glad to see a C main for sc trucks, good showing of 1/10 trucks and 4- 1/8th E buggies, and my lonely 4x4 losi scte as I think I could of finished my last lap if not for the 2 pounds of dirt stuck to the inside of the body and chassis, and gotta give it to my kid for getting my blitz over the top of the shed on the first try, which by the way, I tried 3 times and could only bounce off the side, sorry for the black marks but we had a blast and thinking one more race in october, any takers

A couple of the racers have said they are game for one more race in October before the snow flies on krcproducts.com/forum. I am game for one more race at Altepeter Raceway in Crookston this season also before I shift our efforts to KRC Raceway in Grand Forks if possible.

This section of the forum is mainly to post scheduled races and details for them. We can talk about another race in the main section and/or on the krcproducts.com forum. We will put up another post here if/when a date is set.
