Default Udder Madness Classic in Starbuck MN. september 9,10,11.

I figure I would get a thread going for this. Its minnesotas oldest race. We run 10th scale electric off road vehicles there. Free camping.
If you need more info just post on this thread

LiveRC-West should be there. If they end up using RC Scoring Pro and cell coverage has improved over what it was a few years back, we can get the race on-line. Either way, a full write-up and photos on LiveRC.com can happen.

I remember the first Udder Madness Classic vividly. It was 1996. Only held later in the fall, if I remember correctly. It was cold, and everyone was packed into the barn and the heat was on. One day race. Good times.

AT&T was pretty soft for coverage.. Not sure on Verizon or sprint but maybe they have a tower that hits.. voice was ok but data was horrible..

We will be at the 1/8e nats at the Plex or at Haydays promotion run that weekend.. Sometimes there is just too much going on.

Jay has wi fi he might be able to extend to the barn. I remember the first one. We were all at some other race and it was rained out and as an entire group we packed up our stuff and headed up there. It was one of the last times the rc community in this state was united as a whole

I have Sprint and the coverage was ok (2 or 3 bars out of 5 most of the time). Not too far south of there it was dead though.

Tire of choice for most classes are either a double d or a hole shot with the exception of stock truck. It seemed like the flip outs worked the best

Also I will be running about half of the program. It would be great if I could get someone to split the rounds with me

Sweet ill be there! Will we have triple a mains? Verizon worked good outside the barn but wireless is the way to go... I can bring a 100' cat 5 if needed to get it closer to the barn.

I don't know about triple A mains yet. We want to try. Too many questions go un answered by just running one.
I will call jay tomorrow and ask him about the cat 5
