just throwing this out their, if you have not had a chance to participate in some of kevin's events, your really missing out, as it is very hard to have controlled racing, as racers seem to come and go, but this track is fun to run on, and I like the idea of cooked food for lunch, but words to the wise, bring shade as their is not alot of it available,

we will be their again for this race, bringing the 1/8th E buggy for some laps, but next time we will try to stay off the shed with the SC trucks

Yeah, I knew it would not be long before someone tried jumping the bank and landing on the shed. It is only natural.

Make sure you bring your 1/10 Stadium Trucks this time also Dave. I just put a new 7.5 Brushless in the T3 and there is at least one other driver that will run with us.

Grayson and I just double-sprayed the whole plot to ensure it will be ready for the races. The black dirt turns green real fast without a lot of racing going on.

I am afraid Mr. Tube will not agree with jumping on the shed this race, but you can still try though.

The only thing we ask here is for people to have fun. We have no charges for Altepeter Raceway. You and yours fork out enough already just to pay for gas to come here Dave.

sounds like a few guys are bringing up some 1/10 scale trucks, I plan on running my scte in the 8th buggy class, and besides even if we had to pay entry fee's it is still worth it at this track

Grayson and I just finished the weeding and raking up the mess. Tomorrow evening we will start grooming and packing. Maybe Mother Nature will help us out by soaking it down AFTER we get it fixed up.

Chad built us some new steps for the driver stand. That will be nice.

Default TRACK REPORT SATURDAY AFTERNOON-FLOODED

Racers:

I am afraid it does not look good for racing here tomorrow. The track is soaked and has standing water in many spots. There is a good chance it will rain more also through the night. As is, I don't know if we can have our race day. If we do, it will likely be a muddy one. Grayson is out on the ties with a wet/dry vac trying to suck water off the quad area hoping he can get dry, but it looks pretty unlikely.

We are going to head over to KRC Raceway in a few minutes to work on some R/C Stuff. As is now, we have not officially cancelled the race at Altepeter Raceway, but should we have a race, it is going to be messy.

Here is another idea. We could opt to have a race in Grand Forks at KRC. There is still a decent Off-Road Carpet layout set up in there. I would be willing to do a free promotional race in there if you guys like. Let me know what you think.

I will check back online later. Call the KRC Raceway line if you want to talk with us. We will likely be there until 8:00PM or so. (701) 402-0871

Default THE SUNDAY RACE IS ON AT ALTEPETER RACEWAY!

UPDATE 12:30 AM SUNDAY MORNING:

Hi Racers:

I think it will be alright to have our Sunday Race here at the Altepeter Raceway in Crookston. We just too a look out there and all the water is gone except a small spot in one corner and there is a puddle in the center dip of the quad. Being after midnight when getting home, we cannot fire up a vacuum to suck up that water, but we will early in the morning if it is still there. It will be muddy to start out, but we will get past that and it should be a great day to race.

See you guys here in the morning.

Default Race Results

We had a great time racing today. Hopefully the next one will be even better. There were many that could not attend due to other obligations, but with any luck we can pick out a date that works out better next round. Our next race will likely not be until September. When we nail down a date it will be posted.

Here is the results for our races:

as always we had a blast on the track, it was kinda muddy in the beginning, so big thanks to the air compressor and garden hose, and thinking the 19 lap barrier has been destroyed in open sc truck and even in 8th E buggy, even tho I ran my 4x4 sc truck against them big dogs, we cannot wait for the next race action, so lets get some input on when would be the best time to have another race, as I am chewing at the bit to run the 4x4 sc truck again
