Default 1/12 Rollout information

Hi,
I'm new to 1/12 and I need some information for all of you. I will race in a 17.5 spec stock class. For a 1/12, I got a CRC XTI, what will be the rollout number for a starting point. I saw some guy running with a 101mm and I found in some guide that they suggest 85mm....So this confuse me and need some tech tip.
tks
Carl

There is a 1/12 forum:

http://www.rctech.net/forum/electric...-12-forum.html

The quick version: 85-105 is a typical pan car gearing on that size track depending on how tight it is. The newer motors want to have less rollout, 85-90, while older hardware can gear up a little more. The reedy is one of the older motors so I would start around 90mm of rollout.
