Mailman just dropped this off. Looks like I've got some work to do this weekend.

Michael's RC in Florida had 2 in stock last week. I bought one and it looks like they have sold the other one too.

I just ran into a problem with the kit. The hole in one of the lower arm pivot balls is .05mm too small to allow the kingpin to go through. I already sent a email to Roche USA to see about getting a replacement, but according to their site they are out of stock. The Xray X1 balls are the same size aren't they, just plastic instead of aluminum?

have u tried the other end of the kingpin? I had similar issue one time. And I realized it’s just the cut out on the kingpin was a little rough so cant fit into the ball. I did sand/smooth out the kingpin with a 1000 sand paper. But try the other end first.

Yeah, I tried both ends and both kingpins. They just won't fit through. I don't have a reamer to try to ream the ball, so I figure if I absolutely have to I can chuck the pin up in my dremel and sand/polish the lower part and get it to work. Roche USA's site says that they are closed through Monday for the Snowbirds, so I'll give them time to respond before I do anything.

I had the same challenge, it was definitely a burr on the king pin. Cleaned it up as you have suggested and everything slid together.

The Axon spur with holes for the balls fits, the sedan one with the fan does not

I sold my aluminum chassis (I won't be racing on carpet), ordered the graphite chassis and while I waited for the new chassis to arrive got all the other parts I'll need for my build. I have everything ready to go AND the new chassis JUST arrived in the mail today. My build is going to start after work tonight, its all sitting on my work table ready to go!
