looks good Thanks!... can't wait to get mine...

have you guys tried to mod the system and relocate the antenna to the stock location? I know some racers have done this with the Spektrum system with no problems. Just asking 'coz it will fit better in the aluminum 3PK case without having to cut up the foam inserts.

The cover on the 3PKS fits no problem. When I got my original sample I popped the synth module out and put the 2.4 right in. No mods required.

Kevin,

The RX will have an antenna wire. It's not that long really. You can run a shorty antenna tube, it will even fit under your TC body if you do it right.

Complete system has been discussed, no details yet though...

I'll let you check it out next time I'm up your way.

HRS with the 2.4 is just as fast as the crystal system. I know, I ran it in touring mod foam on carpet.

Not flaming, just want everything to be clear.

I don't want a flame war either - but Nomadio is the one saying they licensed it to Futaba, so you might want to have a talk with them. I was under the impression it was all Futaba as well originally.

Ramon,

Thanks, I emailed them as well about shipping and checkpoint motors. $15USD for USPS to Canada, no bad at all for me. I'm ordering the Futaba S9650 servo, Futaba 2.4GHz and Checkpoint money for my AH12. Should be sweet...

I got a system in stock a few days ago & it looks pretty nice. RX is just slightly smaller than the Spektrum unit. Antenna is the same length. And yes, new module cover is in the box!

When you guys talking about HRS is 2 times FASTER (transmit rate) and this 2.4 is 3 times faster then HRS........what exactly that I can tell how FAST that is...? Does that make my slow arsa cars 6 times FASTER...? I just don't understand who can I tell the radio is that much faster then any other radio..?
Yes it does! With this new system, it will interface with the amb/scoring computer, and you will be finishing your heat while the rest of us are still in warm-up laps .

I'm sorry, i'm at home now and don't have access to it. While I was at the store, I put them(Spektrum & Futaba rxs') side by side for compairison.
I can measure it tomorrow if you like. It is quite short though.
