Looks to be like the Module is not only 2.4GHz but that it can operate 75MHz and is synthesized.

hope Futabe comes out with a new 3PK with the 2.4ghz built in.
so we don't have that antenna holder sticking out.

if not..
Like the spectrum..I'm sure the antenna on the module can be modded and moved to the stock antenna location...

The new radio is not going to be based on the 3PK... it is an all new system with a touch-sensitive screen, like their 9Z air radio.

Acey, you funny!

The 14MZ has the touch screen menu. The "new" 3PK has a revised menu and fewer buttons on the back plate.

Peace,
Socko

The 14MZ has touch screen, which is the toppest(most expensive) radio futaba make, last time I check, it costs like US$1600+. Well, let's say I'm not ready to pay that much for my next 3PK.

Sorry, I got my model numbers mixed up. I knew it had a "Z" in there somewhere.

Hopefully the surface model will not be as expensive.

Have no fear, the new model will be priced similar to the current 3PK.

No touch screen yet, that's further down the road.

But Rookie, you use illegal freq. anyways. Back in the days, you were the only one I knew who would be tuning his motor with the transmitter while races were going on.
