Quick question guys:

Is it safe to assume that Futaba's Fasst 2.4G system is incompatible with Spektrums recievers?

Correct, they will NOT work with each other. The Fasst module, has to have the fasst receivers.

Anyone knows what will happen if the FASST receiver antenna is cut or bent? Glitches?

Bending will not hurt it. If it's cut it is possible to get glitches and is best if you get it repaired. I just cut mine to by accident and got to send it in

Mine was bent 90 degrees upon opening the packaging, exactly at the point where the white wire is exposed. I thought it was byebye... Thanks for the info.

I dont know for sure on the 3pks, but on the regular 3pk, the only difference was the color. And the fact that Futaba USA would not service the Megatech, it had to be sent overseas. But I have never had a problem with my Megatech, so that is/has not been an issue. Now since the Magnums are the grey color, I would only assume that they are the same.

Maybe some more insightful people can add more, but that is my thoughts on it anyway.

Well my 3PM 2.4G should be here in a couple days. I'm switching from a 3PK to this. I'm happy with the feel,(feels better to me than my 3PK), and I'm REALLY happy with the light weight. I'm just hoping that the menus are easy to navigate and user friendly.

Any tips/tricks I need to know about using this radio/receiver?

you can got to tower hobbies and search them, they have a brief spec sheet for the radio listed with each controller and recomennded accessories. the controller i have is tower stock # LXL2P2
jest change the select model name in the 3pk , wont have a problem.

Hi, got my 3PM FASST a week ago. So far no problem. It feels smooth to me and no glitching whatsoever, very happy with it.

I bend the antennae tube gradually to enclose it inside the car shell to protect it during crash and rollover . Range is still good. Cheers
