u sure you don't want a spektrum???

i own 2 TX for the Futaba
7 RX's out of my collection of gray boxes...
i have 1 good TX module and 1 good RX one 90% good RX (it shuts off some times)

the others are out being repaird some for the 3rd time others for the 2nd time.

so... i think you made a good choice in waiting

My units are supposed to be the lates one purchased in August and November

It would be interesting to find out if the futaba receiver will work with existing spekturm modules as having a car with no antenna will be good.

1/10 Electric and 1/5 only i swore to my self that i will never deal with nitro.

at least with 1/5 scale cars just fire it up and forget it, no bad fule, glow plug or glow plug igniters.

I rather have have a futaba dedicated system this way less variables for problems. It would be a nice feature but i rather deal with the same brand units.

FYI guys!!! My Last 2 spektrum RX's died last night so it's 40MhZ HRS for me

Im going to guess in about 2 months or so......

Distributor for Futaba......Great Planes...aka Tower Hobbies.

This all looks great and its good to see someone has put some more thought into the 2.4 systems and its use. I know that I will be getting one of these along with the new version of the radio which is awesome looking and easy to use.

meh, been using spektrum for my 1/8th off raod and 1/10 tourer in all sorts of hot and dusty conditions, and hasnt failed me. the best $140 i ever spent!!!

Yeah i know the feeling...

My friend had me buy one unit for his 3PJ his is working perfectly up to now. My other friend got one for his R1 remote and it's on the fritz....

you can't tell.... some are good some are bad in my case i am just very very unlucky with this thing. but these are electronics so they just go out when they feel like it...

oh well.. it's a good thing they have a 1 yr warranty so i am covered for a while after that it's rocking 40Mhz HRS full time.

Not shown on Futaba Japan site is probably (I am not sure at all) Japan are not allow to use 2.4ghz on RC like US are not allow to use 40 and 41.........
