Default 3PM servos

For the 3PM radio and receiver are their any steering servo restrictions (digital etc.)? I could not find manual to review on Futaba site. Could you also reccomend a servo for a touring car.

Thanks in advance.

Bob,

Only servo restriction is if you run in HRS, you must use digitals. Other than that, you can use any servo.

babalu- i run the 3pm fs pro with digital servo s9451, as socko stated if you run in hrs mode you MUST use a digital servo otherwise you will burn it up,glitch or generally have an issue. i ran the stock servo in a tc4 for a week in ppm mode as well before i got the digital.

you can got to tower hobbies and search them, they have a brief spec sheet for the radio listed with each controller and recomennded accessories. the controller i have is tower stock # LXL2P2

I'm actually considering switching to the new 2.4Ghz 3PM from my current 3PK. I was wondering, is the antenna on the included R603FF reciever short like the receivers the Spectrum systems use?

Just A simple question do I have to run a receiver pack with a
2.4Ghz receiver in a 12th scale. Lrp Sphere speedo and a JR Z3550
servo or a KO 949 servo. Thanks for any input.

I wouldnt think that you need to... I have been running the 2.4 system in my 4-cell pan car without a problem. That is with a MC800C V2, 9550 servo, and either stock or 19t.

It might not hurt, but I dont think it is necessary by any means.

I ran my Fasst system yesterday in a 1/8th buggy club race. I wrapped the RX in a ballon and after 30 minutes main, the RX got warm. Is that normal ? I don't really recall RX gets warm when I was running Airtronics.
