Just one question, is the antenna from the 2.4GHz receiver any different than the normal HRS 203HF receiver? The reason I ask is I'm routing the wire under the receiver and directly on top of the carbon chassis, would it cause problems? I had the same set up with my HRS receiver with no problems.

TRF.

the 2.4GHz antenna is different from the std HRS receiver antenna that is a single wire.
the 2.4GHz is like a mini coax cable.

The R603FS receiver can work in either PPM or HRS, so analog servos in PPM will work.

One question, what is the last slot on the receiver for? It says RS232C.

says in the instructions that the RC232 is for factory use only.
but I think it will be user programable in the future.

Ok, not exactly a 2.4Ghz Futaba problem but it has to do with it..(and my Futaba 2.4 system is on the way) ..so i checked my 3pk today and discovered a strange problem:

It seems that the power switch and the display switch are kinda linked.
I can turn my radio on with the power switch AND the display switch on the side and also turn it of with each of them. But when i try to switch off the display while the power is "on" it doenst't work.
Anybody got this problem to?
Not so tragically at all, never turned the display off before, while racing, but its a little bit strange.

no they are not linked... the power switch is the main switch you should be using.. the display switch allows you to make changes in the pits without sending out a signal that may interfere if other cars are running on the track.

j/k...I took the module apart and rerouted the antenna... If I only the coax cable was another 3-4 inches longer... I could do the mod.
How soon are we talking?

Have you tried press switch on receiver? you have to keep pressing till green light comes on. For fan you can get double plug for receiver from hobby shop. Try use it on No.2 or 3.

Has anyone tried analog servo with PPM mode? Dose it cook servo or receiver?
