Default Foams for 2006 Snowbirds

Hey guys, I just wanted to know what foams you guys are running for 1/10th scale on-road. I was going to run the TRC Cyan and Magenta with the black spoked rims. Does anyone know where I can buy them or if they're still being sold. If not what else is there for me to use?

Thanks,
Chris

I think a good start for stock/19t would be the jaco 2 stage wraps.

If you are running mod, I would suggest taking some jaco dbl pink / dbl pink Org also.

Take plenty! Practice, club race, quals, mains, thats a lot of tires

check out speedtechrc.com or kthobbies.com for Jacos or Parmas. They have very good prices and excellent customer service to boot.

Default tires for snowbirds

you might want to give BSR tires a try. They have a true durometer. Try double pink in the rear and double pink with orange in the front.

I believe BSR is Jaco wheels and rubber.

How does the TRC foams compare to Jaco/BSR with wheel durability?

BSR uses a different foam I think.... They do use Jaco wheels though. I feel jaco rims are better. They are slightly larger in diameter, and stiffer. The foam on the TRC runs a bit soft.... not really good for super high traction conditions in my opinion.

Wow I actually like Parma's better than all the rest right now. They just seem the most consistant. Wraps will be good for a run then bad then good again.
