Okay..Here is the new Indi 16X9 Computerized and 'does not' require a power supply.

.......$239.00 at www.krcproducts.com

16X9's internal 14A power supply is powerful enough to operate the INDI Dyno, together with the INDI Dyno, you can check motor rpm, break-in motors and drive lathe motor.

The INDI Dyno is $129.99

I don't have any experiences with the Quasar Pro, but one of my friend has one and sometimes all this things happens. like the fans turn off automatically, display becomes black, false peaking, unstable current [wasn't the power supply's fault]
I also read about this stuff in some forums.

I think the best charger around $180-$200 would be either the CDC 6.0 or the LRP pulsar.

I'm using a CE pitbull and no problems here...

the pulsar's backlit display is hard to read because it is dark blue while that of the CDC is indiglo blue. pulsar discharges at 10A while CDC is 20A...one advantage of the pulsar is the motor run in feature but if you have a 4-cell...you won't need that

not 4getting 2 mention CDC v6.0B discharge from 0.1amp to 20amp...and with tat,you can even discharge ur transmitter's batts.

not sure abt the pulsar, but the CDC charges 1-10 cells, and you can charge almost any RC application batts...

the backlit screen of the CDC is veri easily 2 read, and with the 2 fans,it seldom gets hot,but heck care,i have another fan blowing at it anyway...hehee...

go with the CDC,u wun go wrong with tat.
