3Racing bag and Team Magic's (for 1/10) are pretty similar

Only differences

Different size boxes (3Racing 2 large boxes, 2 small boxes half height and width, TM 1 large box, 4 small boxes same height half width compared to large box)
Two pockets for 3racing on sides of the bag while TM has one
Tools on top both fit 10, but 3racing has them different positioned them
The front thing (sorry don't know the word) with the zip, when you "open" the bag you can secure it on 3R

I think those are the differences

I have them both and I like them.
One more advantage if you choose any of the above bags and you happen to you own a Mazda MX-5 (Miata, Eunos) the bag fits PERFECTLY in your truck

You are going to have a hard time finding the F8 bag in stock right now. The new shipment is on it's way, but almost all of the order is reserved, and they do not plan to produce more any time soon. TM can not keep up with the demand. If you see one anywhere, grab it, and consider yourself lucky.

The Ofna bag is nice, except for the giant Ofna logo's. I use the bag, and have had no issues with it. $ for $, the Ofna bag is the way to go, as you get the tranmitter & tool bag included in the price. It also includes the two side pouches, which hold Ott lights if you are not racing nitro.

The F8 & Sportwerks bags are awesome, but you will need to add on items to get the same amount of storage space as the Ofna.

UK shops can order them from CML(the UK importer, who have stock), cost 84.95, don't know what the shipping would be to the USA.

You can also get them on ebay. Search for team magic, there is someone selling them for 149.99, only $10 more than speedtechrc but they actually have them. Ordered one myself last night 165 after shipping, not too bad.

The Sportwerks 1/8 Bag is the almost identical. The TM bag does have plastic boxes vs. cardboard in the Sportwerks.

Stormer Hoobies has the Sportwerks bag in stock for $115.00

I personally have the Sportwerks, it is quite nice.

Too many choices..

sportwerks rebadges the team magic bags. for product info: Sportwerks RC

side note: the first release of the team magic 1/8 bag had cardboard boxes, but is revised to plastic currently. perhaps newer production of the sportwerks version will have plastic as well.

they are distributed by horizon. support your lhs!

I have the large sport works bag. It is by far the best race bag that I have ever had. I taped the boxes up with clear packing tape to help keep the boxes in good shape. I can get every thing that I need into it. If the boxes were plastic it would even better.

Later, Lee
