Default New ROAR?

I must say that as "one of the biggest" critics of ROAR in the past years, I am pleasantly surprised by the new leadership "Mike Queller" and the new organization. Over a week ago I reached out to Mike to try and "open a nailed shut door". I was treated with "respect and enthusiasm". I not only joined ROAR as a member but my company is now an affiliate (see the logo on the top of our site). I know it is early and ultimately we all will decide if this is a step in the right direction...but early indications are "WE ARE FINALLY MOVING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION"

Now kill me :-)

I know the On-road commitee has been very active....I am part of it as is EddieO and a few others from this board...We are working on quite a few things and so far the Excomm has been very easy to deal with and has listend to all of our ideas....

Seems the new President is doing the things to move Roar in the right direction...FORWARD!!!

I'm on the on-road committee too and we've made some good progress on getting some issues addressed and ready to present to the EX-COMM. I never was a huge fan of ROAR myself, but now that I'm part of it, hopefully we'll all be able to work together to get this hobby/sport what it needs. A strong sanctioning body.

Hopefully now more companies will start to support ROAR and move forward with more members and grow racing around the country which will benefit the industry and everyone involved.

Man this sucks.... I enjoyed reading people giving a REAL hard time to Ernis and ROAR and now they both turned into the "good guys"....

What the hell is going to happen next???????????

PS I hope some one gets to Dawn S. and make her a part of ROAR, she take the heat when others at ROAR hid away. I might even join ROAR again..

This is crazy to think that it took the "evil one" Enrie to say that Roar is moving in the right direction than all of sudden supporters came out of the wood work.

I myself have never been a fan of how works or is ran but it does take the right people and leadership to make things work right and maybe that is what this new president and new leaders is what was needed.

As for Ernie I have always thought highly of the guy and felt that he gets a bad wrap. The guy is in this buisness to make money. I just think that some people don't like that. Please do not let this statment start a flame war.

It appears more than ever now....that Dawn was "a scapegoat" USED by others. She has "recently" been nothing but pleasant and productive in working with me....
