In just under two months we will have six newly crowned Stock Wars Champions! Or maybe we will see our first repeat Champions!
New for 2017 - Stock Wars is adopting a fixed-timing spec motor for both 17.5 TC and both 17.5 1/12 classes. The motors will be provided by Motiv RC, all of them tested in-house by Motiv's own Paul Lemieux. These are not "fixed" endbell motors, but will be individually assembled and sealed by Paul to achieve consistent settings and performance. Spec motors will be randomly drawn at check-in. Spec motors will not be interchangeable between TC and 1/12, but a motor for TC "Open" can be used in TC "Pro," same applies for 1/12 classes.
USGT and F1 will remain BYO motors that will need to be teched before seeding starts. USGT stays with 21.5, F1 will stick with 25.5.
Graphics by Michael Toth @ 2mmdesigns are near completion. Awards by Brandon Skewes @ Race Rewards are shaping up nicely. stockwarsrc.com will go live soon for race registration!
