is there a ball diff for the ta06? I’d guess if the ta06 gear diff fits, then the all o e will, too.

Sorry if I’m coming across as pedantic.

Well, the stock diff balls are steel, the diff rings are steel, just not the L&R housings.

I am currently building one and it looks like a much better quality piece than my M03. After finding this thread it pretty much solidified my purchase lol.

I have a question. When installingthe front c hubs and the rest carriers there seemsto be some resistance on them. Then I raise them they take a bit to return back down or stay up. Once I put the shocks on it won't be noticeable but they should swing freely like the arms do.

has anyone else experienced this?

A good habit is to build everything to where it's free. Not sloppy, but easily falls under its own weight.

You can use a reamer to clear out holes that are a little off. Also, look for casting flash interfering with movement.

it's where the carriers and chubs mount to the arms. May have to sand a bit. Other wise car is built. Thank you for the tips.

Looks like tamiya announced carbon parts for the M07. That's exciting, as I run primarily on black carpet.

Has anyone compared the m07 to the m06? I have an m06 and an m05 and am able to get better lap times with my m06. But with the improvments in suspension and slightly better gear ratio, it has me thinking the M07 could be a faster chassis. Any input would be appreciated.

It will obviously depend on the racing surface. On asphalt, I don’t think the M06 will typically be at the front of the field. On carpet, up until the 07 came along, was untouchable. In my experience, the 07 may still be a hair off the 06 on a single lap, but the 07 is much easier to be consistent with and will likely be the faster car for most racers in carpet too.

Can anyone assist ?
I run on asphalt,M-07 MWB and I still find the best tire setup for me is S Grip(FR) & M Grip Tires(RR).
I have tried Ride slicks and they don't work for me.

Does anyone know which Shimizu Racing Treaded tire is most similar to M-Grip & S-Grip.

Looking forward to your thoughts.

sorry for the very late response, but what would you like to know?

I am running the small trf dampers and low profile shock towers, for instance
and also with the double cardan joint shafts.

also running it with a spool, very high traction, but a bit tricky to drive.
Maybe I will try an oil filled diff with 1 or 2 million cst oil

I see the photo is with the old setup, lol,I will post a new one
