Thats a ball diff. Lowers the weight of the car. However, IMO they reduce the speed of the car coming out of turns.

Just saw on the facebook page of a HK hobby shop "RCTEC Racing HK" that an EVO7 carbon chassis is now available. This shop is the same source of the limited run of steel bevel gear sets when the EVO6 was out.

Not sure if the chassis is the same as RCLAB, I doubt though.

HI Guys,

last indoor race this season was done this weekend for me.
I just can repeat the Evo7 is an AWESOME RACE CAR !!!

Among some really really good skilled drivers I managed to reach the A-mains and finished with 2x 3rd in 4th overall position in 17,5T GT Class.
I gave my car for 10 testing-rounds our national champion in 13,5T class and he was with an new car (my evo7, and a new transmitter which he is not used to) within 10 rounds nearly as fast with his Awesomatix, only missing 0,1 sec without any modifications..

Keep racing

Got an update from Facebook by RCLab that he's received a chassis sample from his supplier. Also mentioned of an interesting idea he has for a possible top deck, which I hope would go into production.

Not sure if he wants it revealed so that's all I'll say for now

Shorty Setup
AE 37,5 (=463CST) Damper oil
SMJ Springs red & Blue
3mm rebound within dampers
kit damper positions
5mm ride height
used Tamiya 42307 (0,8mm) to get more steering
FDR is limited to regulations : 4.5 (90/50 64dp)
