Thanks for your interest in the TB Evo 07 carbon fiber chassis! I got more messenge from FB, I will try to deal the manufacturer for small batch production! Maybe 20 pieces, but the price maybe a bit higher, like 65 to 70usd included shipping(PayPal service charge and shipping cost more than 10%)! Please give me more comment on the chassis, like thickness....etc!

I would prefer a 2.1mm thick graphite layer. Thats pretty standard thickness on all TRF cars with low med grip asphalt config.

If you can manage a new batch, i would buy 2 plates from you.

Cheers.

i also would buy 2, as already requested by Facebook Messanger (Florian)
A friend of mine, Rainer, would also buy one ...

Thickness. i think 2.2 would be fine but 2.1 is maybe also ok.
It depends on the stiffness of the carbon material used...

So finished build yesterday.
Impressed about the build quality once again .

I decided to go for the shorty setup .
Hiro Seiko screws are still on the way and did not arrive.

The only weight tuning I did so far was :
- to use shorty Lipo (in my case 209g)
- use the battery mounts from 419X
- use the exotek spool
- use the tamiya aluminum servo horn.

Now i ended up with 1219g without body but already ready to run . Included Motor fan and mount..
So art he Moment the car is not heavy enough ( we have to achieve 1350g minimum and for some series 1380g)) that i have to decide what to do ?
Use normal sticks and wait for my screws to arrive ? Hmmmmm

Nice build.

Body has normally 100g+. I think you achieve the 1350g limit with ease. You choosed the 419x aluminium battery holders, which brings you additional 45g weight saving. I thought about the same but in my case was it is not good for the chassis weight balance, when i drive with shorty.

Did you put your chassis on the balance weight scales?

With Hiro Seiko screws you save additional ~20g.

This is mine with shell @ 1432g race ready (with 45g battery holders)

My Battery Holders out of the Box just have a weight of 25g.
I used the Hiro Seiko Screws and the Exotek Spool. I build me out of Hop Up Parts from Vigor Racing now my own Battery Holder.
With a large Lipo my Car has now a weight of 1460g, with a shorty Lipo 1450g.
If i want i can save additional 25g with other/shortes wires at the esc.

Like i told you at Facebook i think 2.2mm is good.

I'm thinking the shorty layout looks like a 4-wheeler layout. Interesting car I've been lurking this forum for awhile. I am looking for a new car this spring summer. What kind of price/availability am I looking at. Also how's the performance on asphalt?

car was awesome in shorty pack setup on black carpet. i ran tcs gt1 with a 21.5t because its all i had and it was really good. i wasnt fast enough to be competitive but as far as setup the car was really fast and predictable. I think in usgt this car can be very competitive.

Just sent RClabhk a facebook message for the chassis plate, I hope he can still take my order.

Haven't got my car yet but don't wanna miss out on this batch.
