The Hotel will once again be serving a Thanksgiving day dinner. I am still awaiting details but it should be a good alternative to Denny's.

Below is the schedule once again. Pits WILL NOT OPEN FOR SET-UP TILL THURSDAY MORNING. We also plan to have the 1st round heat sheets posted sometime late Thursday morning.

See everyone in 2 weeks

SCHEDULE:
Thursday 11/23: 8 AM Doors open
Track open for practice. May control as needed
1pm-8pm Check in, tire/motor purchase, motor tech
Track open all night long

Friday 11/24: 5AM – 8:30am: Controlled practice
6am - 12pm: Check in, tire/motor purchase, motor tech
8:45 am Drivers meeting
9am - Finish: 2 rounds of Qualifying
Track open for practice. Track open all night long

Saturday 11/25: 6AM – 9am: Controlled practice.
9AM – Finish: 2 Rounds of Qualifying
Finish –12AM Practice: track will close at midnight

Sunday 11/27: 6AM – 9AM: Controlled practice.
9AM – 4 PM: Mains & Awards.

10 days between me and a road trip to The Champs. I haven't been this excited about a trip since Disney when I was 10.

Wow I can't believe it's only 10 days before this race. So much left to do. Time flies when you're having fun i guess. See ya all next Thursday.

7. Drive/Power lineTech
..........a. Batt Voltage 4.2/8.4
...................i. If within .02 over can burn it off but must go to .02 per cell under ie: 4.18/8.36
...................ii. More than .02 over sit that round out
...................iii. Grossly over voltage will be dully addressed
..........b. Temp : Ambient +/- 10*
...................i. Batteries will be thermal imaged and temp’d if severely over sit round out
...................ii. If consistently over may be disqualified from the class
..........c. Spec Tires : no modifications to the SPEC HANDOUT tires/rim/foam is permitted except for
...................i. SXT additive
...................ii. Glue Side walls
...................iii. True Foam to sizes
..........................1. Any removal and replacement of foam is prohibited
..........................2. Any modification between the rim surface and the foam is prohibited
..........................3. If unsure ask ; any infraction will result in complete class disqualification
...................iv. TC Tires may be safety glued on side wall, must run rim/tire/insert completely as provided
............d. Motors will be pretech’d, sealed and serial numbered. Limit 3 motors per entrant per class
....................i. Motors will be inspected to ROAR acceptance criteria, based on a 2 pole measurement.
....................ii. Top 5 from every round and others may be randomly re-inspected to include full disassembly
...................iii. Any motors that do not pass after intitial check-in inspection may be held till after the race and the driver may be disqualified from the class

I'd take it a step further and state that if you disqualify more than [pick a number you are comfortable with] of a certain brand, that brand is illegal for the event the following year.

Issue is differentiating between, manufacturing caused and individual racer altering. I know out of the years I've been tearing down motors, it's probably been 25% racer caused 25% off the manufacturing line and 50% tuner shenanigans.
