Hi guys, need a belt for a project, I am looking at about 230 teeth, so about 690mm long. 3mm wide.

Anyone know of a source?

Databases on the interwebs don't go that high.

Kawada single belt cars belts are longer by about 30 teeth. Not sure about the Tamiya TA07 belts, if anyone knows the tooth count on that, please let us know. My guess is it's not going to be far enough from the Kawada.

But you'll be looking for 30-S3M-690
You can fairly easily find 150 (15mm) as they're timing belt width.

These guys have got 6mm.

I'm assumming you're still looking for the 3mm teeth pitch that are used on RC cars.

Hi guys, thanks, yes, I've checked Driftmission, the last belt on the page looks promising, it seems to me it's about 222 teeth (if the length is indeed 666mm; the site says it has 215 teeth, which I think it's wrong because 666:3=222), which would be close and most likely good.

I have also discovered the Kyosho Optima belt is 220 teeth, so close enough.

The TA07 belt is 250 teeth, not so sure.

I've ordered the Optima and MST belts from Rcmart, we'll see what happens and take it from there.

I have visited the Misumi page as well, but I can't use 6mm wide belts, and they don't have them any thinner.

The custom made belt sounds like what I need, but at least if none of these two belts I ordered work, I will be in a better position to order something custom. I mean I don't want to order something that will most likely be quite expensive by taking a guess and then discover it doesn't fit.

We'll see.

Great stuff, thank you. Looks like they have one belt in 699mm (233 teeth). Seems spot on, but for now, I will wait. Thank you again, excellent source.
