question from FB:

Are you enforcing numbers on car in usgt at southern nats?


USGT
a. tires must have visible tread to pass tech
b. all blinky type esc must be on the ROAR list
c. bodies must have at least 3 numbers
d. must be in some form of race lively
e. must have a front and rear bumper of some sort.
f. use your decals and make it look like a race car including headlights and taillights
g. all rotors can not be larger than 12.5 mm in diameter

nice....looks like a winner...funny that pic is from the 1st USVTA Scale Nationals, and 1st year RCGT was offered. 2010 I think...the 1st two years was VTA only as it was called the USVTA Nationals, and went to Scale when RCGT, Mini and something else was added...F1 maybe?...but its one of my favorite paint jobs...and I did it myself. Both cars, TC5's

what gearing do you run spur/pinion wise for indoor tracks? 80x40

On a different note, Protoform wheels arrived today!

Some observations

The PF wheels seem to be a different material they are a brighter white than the HPI. They are 3 grams lighter (31mm wheels), and appear to be about 1mm wider.

I have a TON of the Protoform VTA wheels and tires in stock and have them at a great deal at the race. Same with F1 tires and USGT tires. Will also have a fully stocked hobby shop by time the race is here.
