Pretty excited to get my cars as there are a lot of upgrades over the old car which was still quite good.
Im a little concerned about the mounting for the front arms in a collision and what kind of front brace options there are. The way the 5.x installed the brace was a pain so hope that isnt carried over.
Overall very solid looking car. Any 5.x owners should go ahead and pickup the shock. It will most certainly fit the 5.2 and make much easier droop adjustment.

Yep, very nice. Quite a few guys are thinking about 12th scale at my track and this only helps the cause. I went with Xray for 12th scale but this car would make me just as happy.

Chassis design looks very similar to a McFactory.

Good designs can't be beat!!!

I hope the front lower a-arm system can hold up!

Shock is tied to a floating servo mount that wouldn't fit under body of an F1 car. There is no additional stiffness provided other than the front end of the chassis is wider and has more material for side to side flex. Front to back flex would be unique as the chassis is inches shorter. Both pan cars, but apples to oranges in comparison.

How did they center the motor since the offset piece for the axle is not there and the pod is wider?

Wait a minute... They totally watched my YouTube video and copied my ideas.

I'll let this one slide.

Didn't AE just drop Hobbico? My LHS was saying as much. Seems to have pushed everything back.
