What is it for, the ESC or the motor? That should make it clear where it goes...

And all my pics are of it with bodies on:

Then it should go right on the motor itself. Is it just a fan or did you get one with the clip on heat sink? That would be the way to go.

Body is a Suzuki Escudo(by HPI), I was experimenting with down-force. Worked great in the 19T class on our tight/technical track. I decided to go back to a more typical race body for this season, sense I'm entering the open mod class. With all the extra speed, the Escudo would be more of a parachute than a race body...

no its just the fan on its own you cant get a fan mounted on the heat sink over here so what i done is re done all the electrics i mounted the receiver on the servo and pushed the esc to where the receiver was it gave me space to fit the fan on the chassis but im not happy with it where it is i have a JR rs3000 receiver so its bigger than normal im thinking about the wieght on the r/f wheel might throw the ballance off a little

I don't know for sure, but I assume they can do international orders...

can be plugged into the receiver or hard soldered.

But the downforce would be INSANE! At the '02 HPI Challenge, half the nitro class was running Escudos. One nitro just picked my little Pro2 and threw it into the air like nothing. Those bodies are like big shovels. And now that they are discontinued by HPI, they are worth quite a bit more than a typical body.

It was very much like the Lola I ran on my R40, best possible downforce. There aren't any rules about bodies at our track, so I started experimenting. I picked up a GTB 5.5 system to compete in the open mod class this season. I had been running a Vauxhall Astra for the bulk of the 05 series. This year I decided to try the stratus 3.0 Looks like the track maybe ready next weekend, just hoping we don't get rained out, I'd love to see what this thing will do on the prepaired surface...
